Gary J. DeSalvo, DMD, MD is a Board-Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who has served the High Point community with distinction since 1994. As the Senior Surgeon at High Point Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. DeSalvo is known for his surgical expertise, clinical judgment, and longstanding commitment to exceptional patient care.

Dr. DeSalvo earned his dental degree with honors from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, following undergraduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. He went on to receive his medical degree with honors from the Medical College of Pennsylvania, followed by a General Surgery internship at the University of Pennsylvania.

He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency through the University of Pennsylvania Hospitals, receiving comprehensive training in all aspects of the specialty. Dr. DeSalvo maintains a strong clinical interest in full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery, with particular expertise in complex dental implant reconstruction.

Dr. DeSalvo is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. For more than three decades, he has earned a reputation for excellence and trusted care throughout the Piedmont Triad.

Dr. DeSalvo lives in High Point with his wife, Denise, and their sons, Andrew and Nick.
